This is a very rare and unique qualification. This course is run in OCTOBER only, every year. This course can be completed in person, via zoom OR Part 1 (skills- 2hrs) in person and Part 2 (theory- 2hrs) via zoom.

PART 1- Skills:

- Practicing cleaning and dressing burns.
- Learn/practice CPR on our very own Casper the CPR Dog mannequin.
- Learn/practice bandaging skills (ear, eye, leg, bandaging around imbedded objects, bandaging/stabilising broken bones and packing/dealing with open wounds).
- Learn/practice 6 techniques for saving a choking dog on our realistic and life-size model animals.

PART 2- Theory:

Learn the Causes and Symptoms of various serious health problems that dogs can develop and how to deal with them, to prevent an emergency! Also learn specifically about punctures/stabbings, collapsed lungs, post incident cleanup and record keeping for security dogs.

Level 3 is the highest qualification you can achieve in Animal First Aid. Therefore, this is an incredibly impressive qualification to have and display.

PART 1- ONLINE COURSE: This is a really interesting 6hr online course to be completed BEFORE attending Part 2. You will gain highly important animal first aid and care knowledge. The online course can be completed at your own pace either in one go, over several days or over several weeks.

*The online course can be found, booked and paid for on the ‘ProTrainings.uk’ website. Once the online course is finished you will have THREE weeks to complete Part 2 in person at Corner Farm.

PART 2- CLASSROOM: To be completed in person at Corner Farm (2hrs- £35). You will be taught and assessed on various pet first aid skills and how to use various equipment. These skills will be practiced on animal mannequins.
Payment displayed (£35) is for ‘PART 2’ only.
